Nerf. Nerf is a big deal in our home. My son has been into Nerf blasters for a few years now with his collection growing. By growing I mean it’s hit almost 100. So many that we had to build a huge Nerf wall in our playroom to organize them (reveal coming soon to the blog…)
For the Nerf blaster fans, I came up with a simple Nerf themed Halloween pumpkin. A Nerf target.
My son loved it. I think it may even stay out after Halloween as a target.
How to make a Nerf blaster target pumpkin
materials for Nerf blaster target pumpkin
- large oval craft pumpkin
- red and blue craft paint
- black Sharpie pens
- Nerf darts
- glue
Step 1: With a pencil sketch the target circles. I find it helpful to use bowls to sketch circles and a 3D round shaped object.
Step 2: Paint the circles. I painted a center circle red and 2 larger circles blue.
Step 3: Use a ruler to sketch the cross lines. Draw the lines with the black Sharpie pen.
Step 4: Attach Nerf darts with glue or glue gun.
